1. About these Terms
These Marketplace Terms govern access to and use of the you.aero website, application, supplier onboarding, company profiles, draft listings, restricted request for quotation tools, messages and related closed pilot services, together the Platform.
The Platform is operated by JETSONIC TRADING - FZCO, a company established in the United Arab Emirates, referred to as Jetsonic, you.aero, we, us or our.
You accept these Terms only by selecting an unchecked acceptance control that identifies this version and submitting the registration or reacceptance flow. Merely visiting or browsing the Platform is not acceptance. If you do not agree, do not create or use an account.
These Terms do not govern a separately contracted sourcing, brokerage, logistics, inspection, payment or professional service. Any such service requires separate written terms.
2. Business use and authority
The Platform is intended only for businesses and persons acting in a professional capacity. It is not offered for personal, family or household use.
By accepting these Terms, you confirm that:
- you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms;
- you act for a genuine business, public body or aviation industry organisation;
- you have authority to bind the organisation identified in your account;
- the information you provide is accurate, current and complete; and
- neither you nor your organisation is prohibited from using the Platform by applicable law, sanctions or export controls.
3. Closed pilot
The initial Platform release is a restricted business pilot. Access is by a valid personal invitation or by a business email approved on a server side access list. We may restrict access by organisation, country, role, feature, volume or time.
The pilot may provide:
- supplier registration and email verification;
- company and supplier profiles;
- private draft listings;
- restricted demo or internal test RFQs;
- limited messages and document uploads;
- saved searches and service notifications; and
- human assisted or AI assisted drafting and matching tools.
The pilot is non transactional. A listing, RFQ, quotation, message or similar record created in the pilot is for evaluation only and must not be used to form a binding sale, order, payment, shipment or other transaction through the Platform.
Unless separately activated under approved terms, the pilot does not provide public listings, checkout, live orders, auctions, escrow, wallets, stored value, payment collection, supplier payouts, automatic commissions, freight forwarding, customs brokerage, insurance, airworthiness certification or automatic sanctions or export approval.
4. Accounts and security
You must use an authorised business email address and keep account details current. You must not impersonate another person, share a personal login, create duplicate accounts to bypass controls or provide false company, ownership, licence, location or role information.
You are responsible for using a strong unique password, protecting authentication devices, limiting access to authorised personnel and promptly removing former personnel. Notify team@you.aero immediately if you suspect unauthorised access, phishing, impersonation, fraudulent bank instructions or data exposure.
We may require password resets, revoke sessions, restrict access or suspend an account to protect users, evidence or the Platform.
Email verification confirms control of an email address only. It is not KYB approval, sanctions clearance, credit approval, a Verified Supplier status or authority to trade.
5. Jetsonic's role
Unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise, Jetsonic provides a B2B technology and communications service. Jetsonic is not the buyer, supplier, manufacturer, owner, repairer, carrier, inspector, certifying authority, insurer, fiduciary or agent in a user transaction. Jetsonic does not take title to or possession of goods and does not guarantee payment, delivery, quality, legality, documentation, airworthiness or performance.
Users remain responsible for their own commercial, technical, quality, tax, customs, sanctions, export, import, end use, banking, logistics, insurance and airworthiness decisions.
6. Supplier and buyer duties
A supplier must maintain accurate company and product information, have legal title or authority to market the goods, disclose product identity and condition honestly, provide available traceability and certification information accurately, identify known restrictions and promptly correct unavailable, duplicated, expired or misleading content.
A buyer must verify the supplier, product, condition, price, documents, traceability, technical suitability, regulatory status and payment instructions before relying on them. Neither a buyer nor supplier may use pilot records as proof of a binding transaction.
Each user must independently verify bank details through a trusted channel before any payment arranged outside the pilot.
7. Aviation products and records
Platform content may include part numbers, serial numbers, certificates, release records, maintenance records, test reports, photographs and trace records. Receiving, displaying, translating, summarising or comparing a document does not authenticate its issuer or signature, establish chain of custody, confirm that it applies to an item or determine conformity, remaining life, serviceability, safety or airworthiness.
No Platform output may replace inspection, certification, maintenance, procurement, export or continuing airworthiness work by appropriately authorised people and organisations.
Users must not upload forged, altered, stolen, unlawfully obtained or misleading records. Personal, confidential, security sensitive or export controlled information must be limited to what is authorised and necessary.
8. Sanctions, exports and prohibited scope
Each user is independently responsible for sanctions, export control, reexport, customs, import, anti boycott, end use, end user and technology transfer requirements applying to that user, product, origin, destination, route, currency, bank, intermediary or activity.
The closed pilot must not be used for military or defence goods, weapons, ammunition, controlled UAV or surveillance items, specially designed military components, sanctioned goods, embargoed destinations, prohibited end users or restricted technical data.
Users must not conceal origin, destination, beneficial ownership, end use, military connection or controlled status, or reroute, relabel or restructure activity to avoid screening or reporting.
Jetsonic may request supporting records and may block, suspend, preserve or report activity where required by law or reasonably necessary to manage compliance risk. Any Platform screening is supplemental and is not legal clearance.
9. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- offer or request counterfeit, stolen, unsafe, unlawfully marketed or misdescribed goods;
- submit false company, identity, product or compliance documents;
- send spam, phishing, harassment or deceptive messages;
- scrape, harvest, bulk copy, reverse engineer, probe or bypass controls without written authorisation or a mandatory legal right;
- access another user's private account, RFQ, message, listing or document;
- introduce malicious code or interfere with Platform availability;
- manipulate search, ratings, bids, analytics or workflow results;
- disclose personal data, trade secrets or confidential information without authority; or
- use the Platform for unlawful pricing coordination, market allocation, bid rigging or other anticompetitive conduct.
10. KYB and compliance review
We may request company, licence, ownership, authorised signatory, domain, banking, tax, certification, sanctions, export or source of funds information. You must provide accurate information and notify us of material changes.
A review or status shown by the Platform is limited to the checks expressly described at that time. It is not an endorsement, warranty, credit assessment, airworthiness decision or guarantee of performance. No user may claim to be verified by you.aero unless the Platform authorises that exact wording in writing.
11. AI assisted functions
AI assisted output is a draft or decision support input only. It may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable. A qualified authorised person must review it before use.
AI must not make final airworthiness, sanctions, export, KYB, payment or other legally significant decisions. External actions require explicit human approval. Users must not submit classified, privileged, controlled or unnecessary personal data to an AI function.
During the pilot, user content and personal or confidential data must not be used to train or fine tune an internal or third party model or for secondary product improvement.
12. User content and Platform rights
You retain ownership of your original content, subject to third party rights. You grant Jetsonic a non exclusive, worldwide, royalty free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, translate, transmit, display, index, analyse and process your content only as necessary to operate, secure, support and legally administer the approved Platform functions.
The licence permits technical backups, security review, compliance review and access by approved service providers acting under appropriate controls. It does not permit public advertising of private content or AI model training and fine tuning.
You confirm that your content is accurate to the best of your knowledge, may lawfully be submitted and shared as selected by you, does not infringe third party rights and complies with these Terms.
The Platform software, interface, design, documentation, brands and original materials are owned by or licensed to Jetsonic. Subject to these Terms, Jetsonic grants you a limited, revocable, non exclusive and non transferable right to use the Platform for internal business evaluation during the pilot.
13. Confidentiality
Content in a clearly public area is not confidential. Content in a private RFQ, message, draft listing, restricted profile field or controlled document area must be treated as confidential where it is marked confidential or a reasonable business person would understand it to be confidential.
The receiving party may use confidential information only for evaluating or carrying out the permitted business purpose and may share it only with people who need it and are bound by appropriate confidentiality duties.
Confidentiality obligations continue for five years after disclosure or account closure, whichever is later. Trade secrets remain protected for as long as they remain trade secrets under applicable law.
14. Privacy, cookies and communications
Our processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Notice at https://you.aero/en/privacy/. Cookies and similar technologies are described in the Cookie Notice at https://you.aero/en/cookies/.
Acceptance of these Terms is separate from acknowledgement of the Privacy Notice and from any marketing choice. Marketing subscription is optional and off by default. A marketing refusal does not block registration or essential service and security messages.
Each user is independently responsible for personal data it obtains through the Platform, including lawful use, required notices, security and response to rights requests.
15. Fees and taxes
The closed pilot is free of Platform subscription and transaction fees. Jetsonic will not deduct commissions, collect transaction funds or operate a wallet during the pilot.
No fee, commission, referral payment, subscription or paid feature applies unless its amount, currency, calculation, tax treatment, triggering event and payment terms are disclosed in advance and expressly accepted under separate approved commercial terms.
Each user is responsible for its own taxes, duties, reporting and professional advice.
16. Moderation, suspension and termination
We may reject registration, investigate activity, require corrections, restrict visibility, remove content, disable a feature, revoke an invitation, suspend an account or terminate access where we reasonably believe that law, these Terms or third party rights may have been breached, information is false or unverifiable, or activity creates fraud, safety, security, sanctions, export, regulatory or reputational risk.
Where reasonable and lawful, we will provide notice and an opportunity to respond. We may act without advance notice where urgency, legal restrictions, evidence preservation or harm prevention requires it.
You may stop using the Platform and request account closure by emailing team@you.aero.
17. Retention after closure
Account closure ends access but does not automatically erase every record. Operational profile data is removed or anonymised in accordance with the Privacy Notice. Minimal account, acceptance, marketplace, communication, compliance and claim records may be retained for five years after closure or the last relevant event where necessary for legal, security, audit or dispute purposes.
Tax and related commercial records may be retained for at least seven years where UAE tax law requires it. Secrets, one time codes and raw invitation tokens are not retained for five years. A minimal suppression record may be kept longer to ensure that a marketing opt out remains effective.
18. Availability and third party services
The pilot may be unavailable, delayed, incomplete or interrupted and may change without backwards compatibility. We do not promise uptime, response time, recovery time or service levels unless stated in a separate signed agreement.
The Platform may rely on third party infrastructure, email, analytics, storage, security, support or AI services. Their separate services may have their own terms. Jetsonic is not responsible for an independent third party's service or conduct except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
19. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the pilot is provided as is and as available. Jetsonic does not warrant that a user, product, listing, RFQ, quotation, document, price, availability, match, AI output or compliance indicator is accurate, genuine, complete, lawful, safe, serviceable, traceable, airworthy or fit for purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a duty, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
20. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jetsonic is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential loss, or loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, business, goodwill, anticipated savings, production, use or data.
Jetsonic is not liable for the conduct of another user, a transaction arranged outside the pilot, product defect, counterfeit or stolen goods, documentation failure, payment fraud, shipping, customs, tax, insurance, sanctions, export, safety, maintenance or airworthiness matters, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Jetsonic's aggregate liability arising from the Platform is limited to the greater of AED 1,000 and the Platform fees paid by the claimant during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
This limit does not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence where it cannot lawfully be limited, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that applicable law prohibits from being limited.
21. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, a business user will indemnify Jetsonic and its personnel against third party claims, regulatory demands, losses and reasonable legal costs caused by that user's content, product, document, unauthorised transaction, infringement of rights, breach of these Terms or violation of sanctions, export, customs, tax, competition, product safety or other applicable law.
Jetsonic will provide reasonable notice of a claim, allow the user reasonable participation in the defence and will not agree to a settlement imposing an admission or non monetary obligation on that user without reasonable consent.
22. Records and investigations
You must keep records sufficient to demonstrate compliance with these Terms and the legality of your activities for the period required by applicable law. We may request proportionate records to investigate a specific risk, respond to an authority or verify compliance, subject to privilege, confidentiality, data protection and export restrictions.
We may preserve records and cooperate with competent authorities where required by law. We are not required to disclose legally privileged information, a confidential investigation or information whose disclosure is prohibited.
23. Changes and notices
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, security, the Platform or the pilot. The current version and effective date will be displayed. For a material change, we will provide reasonable notice and may require renewed acceptance before continued use of affected functions.
Operational and contractual notices may be sent to the registered email address or shown in the Platform. A legal notice to Jetsonic must be emailed to team@you.aero with the subject Legal Notice and include the sender's name, company, account email and a clear description of the matter.
An email notice is treated as received on the next business day after sending unless the sender receives a delivery failure notice.
24. Governing law and disputes
These Terms and non contractual obligations arising from them are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the laws applicable in the Emirate of Dubai, without regard to conflict of law rules.
Before starting formal proceedings, a party must send written notice and allow 30 days for authorised representatives to discuss a good faith resolution. This does not prevent urgent protective or injunctive relief.
The courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory law that applies and cannot be excluded.
25. General
These Terms are the entire agreement for use of the closed pilot. The Privacy Notice and Cookie Notice describe data processing and are not contractual terms.
You may not transfer an account or these Terms without our written consent. Jetsonic may assign these Terms to an affiliate or as part of a merger, reorganisation, financing, sale of business or transfer of the Platform, subject to applicable law and appropriate notice.
These Terms do not create a partnership, joint venture, employment, franchise, fiduciary or agency relationship. No third party has a right to enforce them except an indemnified party for the relevant indemnity.
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
Neither party is responsible for delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, provided it takes reasonable steps to mitigate the effect. Payment and confidentiality obligations already due are not excused.
Provisions that by their nature should survive continue after termination, including confidentiality, intellectual property, retained records, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and disputes.
The controlling language is English. A translation is provided for convenience only unless expressly stated otherwise.
